First, Stop the Water
After a storm, the first job is keeping water out. We offer same-day emergency roof repair: tarping damaged areas, temporarily sealing open flashing and boarding up broken openings, so your home is protected while the permanent repair is planned. Call (412) 498-4299.
We photograph everything before and after the temporary repair. Those photos are often the clearest record of what the storm did, and they belong to you.
While you wait, stay off the roof, keep clear of downed lines and report them to the utility, move valuables away from leaks, and take your own photos of damage inside and out.

Types of Storm Damage We Repair
Wind Damage
Lifted, creased or missing shingles, torn ridge caps, loose flashing and damaged soffit or fascia.
Hail Damage
Bruised or fractured shingles, dented gutters, downspouts and vents, and cracked or dented siding.
Fallen Trees & Limbs
Repairs to framing, roof decking, roofing, gutters, siding and windows once the tree service has cleared the debris.
Water Intrusion
Ceiling, drywall, insulation and flooring repairs. As a renovation team, we fix the inside as well as the roof.
Chimneys & Flashing
Chimney flashing, caps and crowns that wind-driven rain has gotten past.
How We Work Alongside Your Insurance Claim
You File the Claim
The claim is between you and your insurer. Report the damage promptly, as your policy requires.
We Inspect & Document
Photos, measurements and an itemized estimate of the storm-related damage we find, in writing.
Adjuster Visit
If you’d like, we’ll meet your adjuster on site and point out what we found.
Review the Scope
We compare the insurer’s scope with our findings and explain any differences, so you can decide how to follow up with your insurer.
Repairs
We do the work in your signed contract. If more damage turns up, such as rotted decking under the shingles, we photograph it so you can send it to your insurer.
What We Do, and What We Don’t
We do: stop active leaks, document damage thoroughly, provide detailed written estimates, meet adjusters at your request, explain the insurer’s paperwork in plain language, and complete the repairs.
We don’t: promise that a claim will be approved or what your insurer will pay. Coverage decisions are made by your insurance company under your policy. We don’t negotiate claims on your behalf; that’s between you, your insurer and, if you choose to hire one, a licensed public adjuster. And we don’t waive, rebate or absorb deductibles. Your deductible is your responsibility under your policy. An offer to “cover your deductible” is a red flag.

After a Storm, Watch for Storm Chasers
After a big wind or hail storm, out-of-area crews often go door to door. Some do fine work, but many are gone by the time a warranty question comes up. Before you sign anything:
- Check that the contractor is registered with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Home Improvement Contractor program. Ours is PA HIC PA132469.
- Ask for a local address and phone number, and proof of insurance.
- Get a written contract. Pennsylvania law gives you three business days to cancel a home improvement contract after signing.
- Be wary of anyone who wants a large cash payment upfront or pressures you to sign that day.
If the storm means a full roof replacement, you can compare colors with our shingle color picker and roof visualizer. Interior water damage? Our renovation team handles that too. More on repairs: roof repair and emergency roofing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my insurance pay for my roof?
That depends on your policy and on your insurer’s inspection, and the decision is theirs. We can document the damage and give you a detailed estimate. We can’t promise an outcome.
Should I call you or my insurance company first?
If water is coming in, call us at (412) 498-4299 for emergency protection. Then report the claim to your insurer as your policy requires.
Do you charge to inspect storm damage?
No. Storm damage inspections come with a free estimate.
What if the adjuster’s scope is lower than your estimate?
We’ll walk you through the differences in writing and give you our photos and measurements. How you follow up with your insurer is your decision.
Can you match my existing shingles or siding?
We try to match color and profile closely. Discontinued products can’t always be matched exactly, and we’ll tell you before any work starts.
