Claysville and the Western Townships

West of Washington, the county opens up into farmland and small towns along the old National Road, now US 40. Near Claysville, the 1818 stone “S” Bridge is still standing as a roadside park, a reminder of how long people have been building out here.

Homes in Claysville, Avella, West Alexander, Burgettstown and Hickory range from century-old farmhouses to newer homes on open lots. Houses on ridgetops and in open fields take the full force of the wind, so wind-rated installation details matter. Older farmhouses often need decking repair, new flashing at chimneys and dormers, and gutters that can handle a big roof. We also work on garages and outbuildings.

Strabane, Cecil and the I-79 Corridor

Between Canonsburg and Washington, the I-79 corridor has grown quickly: North and South Strabane townships, Strabane, Meadow Lands, Cecil (home to Southpointe), Muse and Lawrence. Many homes here were built in the 1990s and 2000s, so original roofs, siding and windows are reaching replacement age, often all at once.
